READ BELOW STORY An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world.

It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century. The 70-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple’s home for the last 50 years. Over 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin..
In a twist worthy of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu already had children. At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman.. To avoid the market gossip and the scorn of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality.

In the beginning, life was harsh as hey had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain, and Liu made a kerosene lamp that they used to light up their lives. Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, ‘Are you regretful? Liu always replied, ‘As long as we are industrious, life will improve. In the second year of living in the mountain, Liu began and continued for over 50 years, to hand-carve the steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily.
Half a century later in 2001, a group of adventurers were exploring the forest and were surprised to find the elderly couple and the over 6,000 hand-carved steps. Liu MingSheng, one of their seven children said, ‘My parents loved each other so much, they have lived in seclusion for over 50 years and never been apart a single day. He hand carved more than 6,000 steps over the years for my mother’s convenience, although she doesn’t go down the mountain that much.
The couple had lived in peace for over 50 years until last week. Liu, now 72 years, returned from his daily farm work and collapsed. Xu sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with Xu, was Liu, that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife’s hand even after he had passed away.

You promised me you’ll take care of me, you’ll always be with me until the day I died, now you left before me, how am I going to live without you? Xu spent days softly repeating this sentence and touching her husband’s black coffin with tears rolling down her cheeks. In 2006, their story became one of the top 10 love stories from China , collected by the Chinese Women Weekly. The local government has decided to preserve the love ladder and the place they lived as a museum, so this love story can live forever.

So… one day i was in school. Middle school seventh grade. It was about Early ‘07 it was. I remember i was in line to go to lunch with my fellow peers. I never thought i could’ve ever had experienced such a wonder in simply looking at a girl. I never thought that one day i could’ve seen a sight and then and there fallen in love. I wish i could remember the date, so that i could establish that in that day and that time… My life had began.

The most beautiful girl… no ANGEL was walking down the hill towards the temps that day. She was silhoutted, had it seemed. Like, an undescribable experience or sight. She was amazing beautiful, i could not believe my eyes. But, all i knew… was that i wanted her. I want to be her friend, i wanted to make her my everything. I wasn’t quite into dating, seeing as though i had not yet has my first kiss or first love yet. So, that wonderful girl was formally introduced to me when we had gone to lunch. I had my lunch, bagged lunch ha. She had a warm smile on her face. I noticed many eyes on her. None of those guys saw her again. ha. I remember our friends introduced us. But, she hadn’t yet seen me in that way. I loved the way she looked that day, I simply love her curly locks… they’re so exotic and sexy. lol… nevertheless… I knew i had to do something. Question was, how?

Not so long was it that she’d developed a relationship with a kid in our class. That didn’t last much, and soon came along another… And another. All i was to her was a friend, bestfriend at that. She was amazing, i loved her so. She turned me Emo, awesome. I didn’t like my Ghetto phase. So, i began to dress better. So i could catch her eye. But, i wasn’t really what anyone would call… Attractive… I was just a loser anyway. I wanted to make her mine already. But, i had to be patient. I prayed a lot for her and one day for her to be mine. ALL MINE. My prayers were not yet answered. I was becoming very impatient. Guys would come and go, she didn’t realize that all that time, instead of wasting it with those other guys, she should’ve been with me. I mean, i was the one who loved her! 7th grade ended. And it was the last day of school, i got on her bus and planned to kiss her whenever was the perfect chance. I missed, So i just gave her a smooch to the forehead. I couldn’t disrespect her either… She had a boyfriend, and i… wasn’t him.

We never spoke of the kiss after that.
The summer was awesome, and so was the first time we ever celebrated her birthday with her. Her, Bonkers, and I were bestfriends. But, yeah.

8th grade come along….
I was afraid that the rumours were true about that she had left… moved. I didn’t see her until three days later. And our eyes gleamed, she jumped right on me… and i held her in my arms. I was happy to see her and hear her voice, she was as well.

Skipping to Dec 4th…
We Weren’t Talking as much as we used to before.
So, i finally i got up the courage to ask her out. She said yes. I WAS THE MOST HAPPIEST PERSON in THE UNIVERSE, I was with my friend Earl and I was like “DUDE! I Got The Girl Of My Dreams!!!!” I Ran Across The Halls Jumping And Screaming At The The Top of My Lungs “YESS YESSS YESSSSSS!” I ran home and i called her, she didn’t pick up… that was strange. So, the next day i went to see her… she was acting shallow. And i asked her what was wrong, she was just acting meanish. :/ I thought “Is this what’s really like?” I cried a lot that day. So, we weren’t going out.

Valentine’s Day 2008:
Looking back, i was quite naive. And i had some MORE courage to ask her out, i fixed up my hair…
I wore the shirt she loved when i wore it. and i had on my favorite shirt and jeans.
I was ready, Go get’em tiger. ;]
I remember i asked my buddy to buy something for her for her and i’d pay him back when i could because i had no time to go myself. The gift was suckish, but i got her a heart-shaped box of chocolates, AND CHOCOLATE BUBBLEGUM! She loved it.
Feb 14th 8:30ish am:
We went to 1st mod, and we had the same class. I think there was a substitute that day, and i had told my ladyfriend to help me get out of class. Eventually, we got to get out. Obviously i was quite nervous. I just told her “Xoch… sigh* wheeww* Xochilt…. Will… Will you go out with me?” I was looking down the whole time. I was really really nervous. GAH! she said “Again?” O-o I froze, “uhhmmm Yes. But, i mean if you need time to think about it, i’ll give you all the time you need” It got a bit awkward. lol honestly. So, she said “yeahh. I’ll think about it” So we left, we went back to class.

Next day, The 15th! It was a thursday. I kept bugging her. Lol Until she finally said “Yes! Gawsh” hehe.(feb 15th 1:00ish pm) She told me in the exact place where i first saw her. That hill, which i ran down to class so i could tell ALL of my classmates.
Next day, no school AND MY BIRTHDAY!
Next day, saturday.
Next day, Sunday.
Next day, Monday… I was happy as can be to see her. It was a b-day so had the same class. Once that mod passed, i did my daily routine of walking her to her 2nd mod. She turned around and hugged me. She told me she loved me. I froze, I had that Chris Rock look on my face. O-O She laughed, and went inside her class. I stood there about a few seconds and walked away. This guy was giving me grief but, i ignored him. asshole. lol So, i went to class. Skipping to 4th mod… My friend said she was in the bathroom. Then, i saw her. And i did the most clumsy thing ever. She offered me a kiss on the lips, i tilted my head. I said “I’m not ready for that yet” Maybe i was on meds or it was something i ate. But, frankly that was one of the most dumbest things i’ve ever DONE! So, just said she was sorry… i just said okay okay… She left for class. Our friend Bianca came up to me “oooohh, i saw you and Xochilt smooching” :p I said “well, i screwed up… i didn’t let her kiss me. She asked why, i didn’t even know… she said to run after her and i did… but, she had already entered class. That bugged me all 4th mod and the next day. so i went to see her. I failed, i went with my friend and we couldn’t get her out of class.
So the next day during 4th mod i went With my friend Nelly… I txted her to come out of class, and she did. I was once again nervous. She was teasing me by smiling so much. I didn’t get the courage to ask her so i just said nevermind babe. I walked her back to class… halfway there which was only three steps lol she grabbed my arm, and she gave me the most amazing feeling i’d ever felt. My first kiss… feb 21th 1:55pm It was retarted after that because out of nowhere Omar Guzman jumped from behind som lockers lol “Ahhh haaaa” he yelled. lol We were all laughing. So, my witnesses… Nelly And Omar… were the first to witness our love. It was beautiful, I made Nelly run with me back to class to tell everyone…
Everyday after that i loved spenting time with her. It was amazing, and not so long after that i fell in love with her…
